It always seems like this time of year is the most busy. I had a very full day today!! I started my first class at 6:30 p.m. and had a lot I needed to accomplished before then. I went over to the antique mall and opened my booth. It was so exciting!! I couldn't find my camera when I went in so I could take a before picture and an after. I ended up finding the camera a few hours later... go figure!! :) I realized that this wasn't a big deal because when I was going over the contract and such, the girl told me that you can paint your booth and use wall paper and etc. I decided that I am going to leave it the same color, it's a buttery yellow color, and I do like it!! But I am going to cover my shelves in some contact paper and find an inexpensive border to put up. I would also like to get a small end table to jazz things up a bit. It's all I can really do because the space is pretty small: two feet wide and about 1 1/2 feet deep and I am on a end corner. I only have two walls to work with, so if any of you have any good ideas...let me know!!!
I have yet to take pictures of my yard sale and flea market finds, but I thought I would share with you what I did with the little glasses that I found a few weeks ago. The vase I got at Home Goods for $5.00 and pick up the flowers at JoAnn's when they went on sale. The tall candle holder is also from Home Goods, $2.00. The small candle holder I found at the dollar store!! :) (the short metal scroll candle holder is from JC Penny).
