Last week, I think Michigan experienced its last bits of cold weather, or at least I hope so! Jesse and I were going to be out for the evening and it still was getting quite chilly at night, so I had to wear my tights again, hopefully for the last time until fall. :)
I stopped by the thrift store today and found an awesome plastic green shopper basket. I am saving its blog debut until after a trip to Eastern Market. I'm so excited to use it!
I also picked up several yards of vintage political themed heavy cotton. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. Right now, I am thinking a play suit and skirt set. Ideas?

Love the black & white combo! It's so HOT and humid here in the Philippines it's hard to remember what the weather was like in Chicago when I left. Glad to hear it's warming up in the Midwest though.
The novelty print fabric is awesome, I can see you making a nifty skirt out of it!
It's the same fabric we had on a chair when I was three...I remember it clearly, now that I see it! At the time we had mostly maple furniture and one of those lamps with a very curved pattern to the lampshade...that I can't quite describe except it sits something like a square-dance skirt. Have fun with it!
