Finds Part 3

I don't know if I have ever mentioned that yellow is my favorite color. I usually will buy anything vintage that is yellow. This was the case when I found this cake carrier. I was at a thrift store and could not believe the $7.00 price tag. It is in wonderful shape, no rust and only a few tiny dents. The locks still work as well. I can't wait till I have my yellow kitchen some day, because I am sure this will look really cute sitting out somewhere!
A few days later I found the Flan plan at another thrift store for $0.99. I liked that it was almost the same color as the carrier and had the same writing on it. I also liked that it had a recipe on the back. This pan also looks like it was either never used or only once or twice. I love when you find items like that, don't you??

I love vintage "finds" as well. Check out my blog and see how I reinvent, renew old books. The really old, neat vintage books, I don't mess with. I love them as is, but these books are not as old, maybe '70s, '80's. Carol
