Sunday Flea Market....

So I did end up going to the Royal Oak Flea Market today and I was slightly dissappointed. There weren't as many venders there as usual and there wasn't anything too special. There was a lovely set of yellow Cameo Depression Plates, 8 to be exact. However, they were the divided kind and drew my attention away. They were also asking a hefty price for very dirty items. There was some Doric and Block designs as well, but nothing in wonderful-had-to-buy-it condition. I ended up just picking up 4 FireKing custard cups in the peach glaze. They were pretty dirty at the market, but was happily surprised when I got home and cleaned them.

Here's a picture of them all stacked up:

I was looking for some more vintage patterns and couldn't find any. I am thinking about trying some thrift stores later this week.

1st Post

Well... I decided to join in on all the fun. My mom and her friend started blogs and lately that's all I've been hearing about. :) So..... I decided to see what it was all about. For a while now I have been lirking around on here reading blogs about other vintage lovers and their finds and got inspired to share mine. Tomorrow I am planning on going to my local Farmer's Market. On Sundays it is devoted to being a Flea Market. I post any finds later on!
